Telcoinabox has a policy and commitment to our staff that we will always advertise new job positions internally to give our team members an opportunity to grow within our business, before opening the roles up to external agencies. We strongly believe that promoting within is one of the reasons that we have very little staff turnover, and our teams are committed and passionate about the business.
Everyone, no matter their position within the business, is encouraged to be innovative and creative and their ideas are always listened to and implemented where possible. We invest a lot in our Telcoinabox Family through training, support and of course fun, and in return we have an office full of loyal ambitious staff. We feel that this policy is a win-win for Telcoinabox and our clients as we keep the skills within the company, build stronger relationships and our staff have high levels of work satisfaction, creating a fun relaxed work environment.
In line with this policy, on 1st July along with Paul Line’s promotion to General Manager there were a few other moves internally, a few of which are the Product Manager, Client Support Group Team Leader and Stepping Stone Team Leader positions.
Carolyn Myers was promoted from Client Support Group Team Leader to Product Manager. Carolyn has rapidly moved up within the company, having started nearly 2 years ago as a customer service representative in the Stepping Stone Team. Stepping Stone is our in-house customer service team for Service Providers that wish to outsource this role of their business. It has been an exciting few months for Carolyn in the new role, project managing the launch of Optus 3G, Wireless and Blackberry to our clients and teams.
This promotion gave Natasha Watts the opportunity to take on new challenges in the Client Support Group Team Leader role. Like Carolyn, Natasha has worked in Telcoinabox for 2 years, also starting as a customer service representative, and then being promoted to Stepping Stone Team Leader. Natasha has already got her teeth into the new role and is enjoying broadening her skills and building stronger relationships with our clients and suppliers.
Replacing Natasha as the Stepping Stone Team Leader is Kyle Davison, who was promoted from Client Support Group Representative, having gained 18 months experience in that role. The past few months have been the busiest for the customer service team and Kyle has proved time and time again that he is up for the challenge.
